My name is Scott Winston, and I created Built To Scale and The Venture Launch Diagnostic to level the playing field.

 I was tired of seeing large companies and venture back startups be the only ones to benefit from this knowledge. Let me tell you, you don't need an MBA, or be in an Accelerator, or be backed by Venture money to make it. Sure all those things help. You need people around who have been there before and have a track record helping companies produce the type of results you want to produce. 

I have advised some of the top companies in the world in turning around their operations, growing their business and addressing organization and growth challenges. Companies like Microsoft, Alcoa, Crown Castle, US West, Bell Atlantic, Bell South, McDonald's, Motorola, and The Reynolds Metal Company have been my clients, to name a few. They listen to my advise.

I am not just a strategist who only works with the big companies or only at the top of organizations. I get my hands dirty, I'm more of an operator, and I like to work at all levels of the business and not just large companies. 

At Accenture one of the World’s largest consulting firms, I was in their Venture Launch Group where I worked with Venture Capital and Private Equity Firms on Early Stage company launches.

At PricewaterhouseCoopers I was on their Global Mergers and Acquisitions team, I help set up Joint Ventures valued at $100's of millions of dollars and helped drive transactions both pre-deal and post-deal integrations on multi-billion dollar transactions. I loved that work, but the truth is, I love entrepreneurs and helping them drive growth in their businesses.

So, for the last ten years, I have run my consulting firm sometimes working with large firms but also with startups, non-profits and small micro businesses. Now I am looking for ways to help even more small and mid-size organizations get the benefits of the big consulting firms without the big consulting firm pricing.

Over the last 10 years, I have had the opportunity to consult, teach and train Business Owners and Entrepreneurs of small and growing companies in The United States and Canada, Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
